Panorama: Bow Lake

Two close friends recently visited from the UK, and I wanted them to see some of the best of what Canada has to offer. That meant it was time for a road trip. Our route was as follows: Vancouver -> Sun Peaks -> Valemount -> Jasper -> Banff -> Vernon -> Vancouver. It was considerable driving in a 10 day period, but well worth. I’ve been through those Albertan national parks before, but I was just as stunned as my friends seeing them for the first time.

We arrived at this fantastic location not knowing the lake’s name, so we (aptly) called it Mirror Lake in the interim. Later I looked at a map and found it to be named Bow Lake. The next time I travel through the park I’d love to stay at that lodge (Num-Ti-Jah Lodge) you can see over on the right.
